Mission of Hope
My mission with this site is simple...To pass on hope. Many men and women dealing with metastatic cancers feel like their life's are over and that there is no where to turn for even the most basic help.
Over the past year I have made some wonderful friends who work with organizations that help...above and beyond any expectations. They help with financial needs, but most importantly, they help you emotionally. They let you know that there are people out there who do care and who want to help.
Also, through this site I want to let people know what it is like living with metastatic cancer. Being diagnosed stage IV is scary and earth shattering, but it's not the end. I have learned that it's just the beginning, but you have to live your life to the fullest. That's what I try to do and that is the hope that I want to pass on.
Eventually, through this site I would like to be able to start my own non-profit organziation to truly give back and be able to help the people most needing it while battling this disease.
I know it is going to be a long road before that happens, but so is living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Just like I want to live and fight for that, I will fight and push on to one day be able to help men and women who are traveling down the same roads that I once traveled.
My final mission is to bring awareness to these great organizations listed so that if you can help, please check out their sites and donate so that they can continue doing the phenominal work that they do each and every day.
